Man dies in car explosion in Taguig

A man was burned to death after his vehicle suddenly exploded in a parking area in Taguig City today (Dec. 15), a police official said.

Police Senior Superintendent Mark Belarma, deputy director of the Southern Police District, identified the victim as Remigio Tan.

Initial reports showed that Tan was parking his Honda Civic (TNM-865) in Serenda, The Fort, Taguig, around 12:10 p.m. when the vehicle burst into flames.

Belarma said Tan owns a condominium unit in the area.

Forensic experts are now at the site to determine the cause of the
