Bus falls into ravine in Camarines Sur, 24 hurt

Twenty four were reported hurt in Camarines Sur province as a bus fell into a ravine Sunday afternoon, an initial police report said.

The passenger vehicle of Ultrabus lines was reportedly travelling to Manila from Bohol when it fell into the 2-3 meter deep ravine in Del Gallego town in Camarines Sur.

The preliminary police report said that the road was slippery due to rains that fell on the province.

Those injured were immediately taken to a hospital in Tagkawayan town in Quezon province.

36 others who were able to travel immediately were taken onboard another Ultrabus unit, said the initial report.

The management of the bus line has offered assistance to those injured in the road mishap.
